No Math. No TV.

The question was something like "why is math important?" or "what would the world be like without math?" Just read what this girl says. I'll type her response below in case the handwriting is too tricky for you to read. Mind you, she's 12.

"Without math you can't do anything. Most important, you can't watch TV. You don't have one. Just let me draw a web... watch TV (can't afford it, why) no job à no money à (can't go to college, it's too late) à soup kitchens (or death) à selling news papers à only 1 dollar menu à be hungry a lot à ask for money à no shelter à be in debt à stealing à jail à 75% likely to not get job à kid can't go to school à kid will be like you à can't feed kid à live in fear à  easy to get sick à no medicine à sick for 2 years à death !!! No math is no life. Math is not something you can ignore à It's everywhere."
